Spotlight Skills

Your AI starts from zero every single session. We build your business an AI context pack — your facts, prices, voice, and rules in one file — so every AI session at your company starts already knowing your business.

What is an AI context pack?

An AI context pack is a single Markdown file, written in the open Agent Skills format, that carries everything an AI assistant needs to know about your business: canonical facts, real prices, what you sell, how you talk, and the rules it must never break. It loads automatically into your AI sessions — across Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and around 40 other tools — so the assistant behaves like a trained employee rather than a stranger you brief from scratch every morning.

The problem it solves

Monday you spend twenty minutes explaining your pricing to ChatGPT and it writes a genuinely good quote. Thursday you open a fresh session and it knows none of it. Your employee’s sessions know even less, so they invent details. The quality of “AI at your business” swings wildly depending on who typed the prompt and how much they bothered to explain.

That inconsistency isn’t a model problem. It’s a context problem, and it has a boring, durable fix.

Business AI with and without a context pack: every session starting from zero versus one file loaded into every session

What’s inside

01

Canonical facts

Legal name, locations, service areas, hours, contact details, and the prices you actually charge. One authoritative version, so your AI never invents a number or quotes a rate you retired last year.

02

Offers and boundaries

What you sell, what you don’t, who you’re for, and who you’re honestly not for. The boundaries matter as much as the offers — they stop AI from promising work you don’t do.

03

Your voice

How you actually talk to customers, taught with real before-and-after examples rather than adjectives. Examples transfer; “be professional yet friendly” does not.

04

Rules and red lines

Discounts you never give, claims you never make, warranty language you must use, compliance rules for your industry. The things that cost real money when an assistant guesses.

05

Reusable specifics

The numbers, timelines and local details that make output credible instead of generic — the same specifics that make your public content citable by AI search.

06

Working conventions

How you want work delivered: formats, templates, naming, tone by channel. This is what turns an assistant into something closer to a trained employee.

How it works

Step 1

The 45-minute consultation

We interview you about your business the way a good new hire would — prices, edge cases, the things you repeat constantly. This call is free, and you leave with a scoped plan whether or not you hire us.

Step 2

We write the pack

Drafted in the open Agent Skills format, so the same file works in Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and the rest of the ecosystem. No lock-in to one vendor.

Step 3

We test it against your real work

We run your actual recurring tasks — quotes, customer replies, listings — with and without the pack, and show you the difference side by side.

Step 4

Install and hand over

Installed in your team’s AI tools, with a short walkthrough on editing it yourself. It’s a Markdown file you own outright — no subscription required to keep using it.

What this does not do

We’d rather lose the sale than let you buy the wrong thing:

  • It will not get you cited or recommended by AI search engines. A context pack is for the AI you hire, not the AI your customers ask. Nothing you put in it is read by any crawler. Getting quoted by ChatGPT and Gemini is separate AEO and GEO work.
  • Uploading it to your website does nothing. If anyone sells you “SKILL.md for AI visibility,” that’s the llms.txt pitch with a new filename.
  • If nobody at your business uses AI yet, skip this. There’s nothing to make consistent. Start with the work that brings customers in.
  • It won’t fix a vague business. If your prices, offers, and boundaries aren’t decided, no file can encode them. Sometimes the consultation surfaces that — which is useful, and still free.

We run on one ourselves

Spotlight Links operates on its own context pack. It carries our entity facts, our editorial voice, our conventions, and our published operating numbers. We spend a lot of hours every week working alongside frontier models. It's mission critical to have a iterating relationship model between spotlight links and the frontier model we use.

That’s the whole pitch: we sell the thing we use, and we’ll show you ours on the call.
